As a technician working for the Cornell Hemp project, one of my duties included maintaining the project’s website. The Cornell Hemp Website serves as a hub for hemp production in New York State. It includes information about the New York State pilot program, information on growing hemp for producers, the results of Cornell’s hemp research, and a directory of Cornell’s faculty and staff and extension specialists working on the project.
My services included:
- Customizing an easy-to-use responsive WordPress theme that conformed to Cornell’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences brand requirements.
- Ensuring that links and documents on the website are easy to find and access.
- Ensuring the website complies with Cornell’s accessibility standards.
- Keeping the website up-to-date and regularly adding new materials.
